How the Chaldean name number is calculated
Each letter is given a value from 1 to 8 by its sound: A I J Q Y = 1, B K R = 2, C G L S = 3, D M T = 4, E H N X = 5, U V W = 6, O Z = 7, F P = 8. The values are added to give a compound number, which is then reduced to a single digit.
Example: ANITA = A1 + N5 + I1 + T4 + A1 = 12 → 1 + 2 = 3.
We also show your soul urge (vowels only), which reflects inner desires, and your personality number (consonants only), which reflects the impression you give others.
